I do find my local child health workers pretty useless. To me they seem like robots, regurgitating the latest figures and statistics they read from the numerous leaflets from the World Health Organisation but whenever I ask for an opinion, they get stuck and tell me to see the pediatrician...
So it goes like:-
A. I listen and nod like a good girl seemingly impressed by the stats
B. Go ask your doctor
Has anyone ever felt like that?
Basically, when I really need support and reasonable advice, I just don't bother going there anymore!Q about Health workers. Do they give advice or WHO statistics?Robots had better do my best not to be regurgitated the latest figures and statisticsQ about Health workers. Do they give advice or WHO statistics? The World Health Organization is set up to provide general health information to the public, not individuals. That's why they refer you to your family doctor.Q about Health workers. Do they give advice or WHO statistics? What else do you expect them to do? They'd be fired for giving you uninformed opinions - if you want those, just post here :) It's their job to tell you the facts to the best of their knowledge. The WHO is a pretty good source of facts.
They also can't diagnose anything remotely like a medical problem or condition - you have to be a doctor to do that. Again, what do you expect them to say?
