The program is being halted because Hawaii's state government found that supposedly middle class families who could afford health care and would not be participating in the program leapt at the chance to obtain free care. What does that tell you?



It tells you that far fewer middle class families in this country can actually afford health care for their children. This is precisely why our government must overhaul the health care system in this country.Hawaii ending universal health care for kids because it doesn't work?Its not that it didnt work, Theres just NO MONEY to support it.
