For families with a child who has health problems, ideas please?

I am 15 years old. I am ready to quit sitting around and worrying about myself and make a difference. I love little children. I currently work in a daycare and love all the wonderful experiences I have had. My favorite thing about little kids is their innocence and love for fun. Every child deserves a chance to live. I would like to know what families with ill children need the most. I will do everything in my power to get it for them. Any input is appreciated so much! I will submit my final idea to dosomething.org in hopes to get a $500 grant to start my charity. I will put my final plan into action at Primary Children's Hospital.

I would love to hear your story and what you would need(ed) during the time of your childs illness.

they need someone to act like they're not sick. sick kids like to feel normal. i think it would be good if you could volunteer at a children's hospital, and visit them and play with them.
