Has any one had problems with their child's health visitor?

I am having a nightmare with my son's health visitor. He is 18 months and only just got his 15 month check up and MMR Vaccine which I had to fight to get, meanwhile the waiting room is full of 15month old children - he was obviously forgot about. Also she didn't do half of the stuff she was supposed to do and had such an attitude. I am going to change practice after it all. My old health visitor was so lovely but she moved away and I was gutted along with the other mothers I spoke to.



Has anyone else had similar problems, my surgery is the old Mill in Newtownards, County Down, Just incase anyone else is with them too and knows what I mean.

Has any one had problems with their child's health visitor?My mom never had this problem with me, and for myself im 16 so I don't have a kid, and don't plan to for atleast another 16 years
hi //i dont have problem with my hv.but i was told that she will not visit me untill one yr,,,coz im not high need parent.they r shortage of hv's so they target high need familes.so if i need her before one yr i need to phone her.so i did phone her for advice n she phoned me back to check if im ok now.so i think its ok with me.sorry to know u having problems.Has any one had problems with their child's health visitor?It's happened a couple times. He got my son's height wrong. He said it was 27.6 and it was 28.7. He can give me attitude if my little boy doesn't behave. He's 1 year old. He knows how to walk he doesn't want to sit there!Has any one had problems with their child's health visitor?
got four children and never had one problem with anything ,hope you get the problem sorted good luck
my hv is the same 1 my mum had for me she still sees me as a little girl and makes me feel like everything i do i must have got advice from my mum about it 1 example it sounds silly but was annoying was when my oldest was just started solids i told her what i giving him she said oh thats very good your mum must be advising you well she done alot of things and made remarks my mum ended up going to see her and telling her its not her giving me advice and that im a great mum and make my decisions i was 20 when i had my first son not 16 i have my own house with my partner we now have another son i only go to her when i really have to and like you had to phone for some there checks they need vcause she forgot about usHas any one had problems with their child's health visitor?
i haven't had any problems with my health visitor, she is lovely but as far as vaccines go my son was over 2 when he finally got his mmr and even then i had to go into my doctors and ask why. they just said 'oh haven't you had a letter yet?' all the other kids were about 12 months old when we went. its really annoying and he is still behind schedule for his jabs. same with my daughter and her preschool vaccines. all the other kids had theirs in nursery and she didn't get hers till she was half way through her reception year and i had to go and ask about that too.
