I have had some health problems that has prevented me from having one more child?

I have three, very thankful for and not trying to be greedy by wanting one more. I know my children are a gift from God. So i have been praying about if it was Gods will that he wanted me to have one more. And just felt like yes i was going to have one more. But really wasnt sure if it was my own wishes or God speaking to me.



So i said God if this is you please let this message come thru someone else like my mother for instance knowing my mother would be the last person who would mention another child knowing my health. I lost a baby a couple years due to a blood clotting disorder. I am able to have another child but my health would be at risk.



Anyway while visiting her today she said i had the strangest dream she said i dreamed you had another baby. and my mom just isnt the type to talk about dreams.



Could this be my answer to my prayers?I have had some health problems that has prevented me from having one more child?I think if you are praying for God's will to be revealed you should ask for and expect that it will not need to be interpreted or analyzed and instead look for it to be crystal clear. Anyone looking for a "sign" usually finds or makes one if that's what they want to find! Be patient for God to show you want He wants...you have 3 children who need their mother, risking your health for another doesn't seem prudent, but God is the author of life, so if another comes your way you must also ask Him to guard your health so that you can give to all 4 what they need from a healthy mom. Yup. But be careful what you wish for. Your health will be in danger. You better be very careful and watch your health very closely. You might have to become a health and exercise fanatic during that pregnancy. Your babies need a mother. It would not be good to bring in a child that loses it's mother.



I also think you should Report Abuse on any answers you find insulting.I have had some health problems that has prevented me from having one more child?No. Your hormones are very loud in your ears, but you must not confuse them with God. As several have pointed out, in our current ecological state, it is irresponsible to have large families. Earth is already in an unsustainable place with regard to human population.
Or perhaps a sign that you and your mother have a great connection between you.

While I don't claim to be very religious I am spiritual, and I do pray alot and trust in god. But your health is more important, so go in for tests and if they are good then its God's will. No. Why are you trying to overpopulate the earth? What is all this I want, I want stuff? You've got one more than you should have so stop now.
The world has enough children. We should work on feeding the ones we have now and stop behaving like rabbits.
First I want to say that I don't agree at all with the people who are going on about how the earth is overpopulated and how having a large family is irresponsible. I love large families, they give children a chance to grow up in a large, loving support system. I am only 17, but I want to have a big family when I get older and I commend any women who has the strength to raise one child, let alone more.



Unfortunately, I cannot give you a definitive answer to your question, that is between you and God. It sounds like you have done the right things, praying for an answer and then asking for a reassuring sign.



Your mothers dream sounds like an answer, but you need to understand that God's plans are different to our plans. Remember Sarah, God promised her a child but she didn't give birth until very late in her life. God could be telling you that you will have another child, or he could be telling you that you are going to become a mother in other ways. Maybe you should pray about adoption or maybe you will become a motherly mentor towards a younger woman. I cannot know, that is between you and God.



Just remember to keep on praying, an open and growing relationship with God is vital in living out God's plan for your life. I wish you the best of luck with your beautiful family, and with any additions God may choose to add.



I hope that you will never feel guilty about wanting another child. Wants are natural, and God wants us to want the things that are good. Children are good, and it makes perfect sense for you to want more. This would only become a bad thing if you let the want take over your life or interfere with your relationship with God.

I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I don't think a loving God would want to you to endanger your health for a child you feel you'd be greedy in wanting.



I'm not going to mislead you, I don't think God sent that dream to your mother. And to me it sounds like you're undecided if you want another child, but at least some desire is there.



I'm not going to put words in your god's mouth, by saying maybe he's saying you should look into adoption. I'll say it. Don't risk your heal/life. There are lots of children that need homes. Troubled kids that need love. Not all of them are cute babies, some are already older with issues. I'm jumping to conclusions a little bit (which is unfair of me) in guessing that you're Pro-life, and I'm of the opinion that pro-lifers should always consider adoption before procreating.



It's at least something to talk to your spouse about and pray about before going through a risky pregnancy.
Jesus is God and Savior :) Maybe it is an answer from God about this issue, but either way, with or without another child, make sure you believe the right things about the Lord Jesus and salvation :)
