Describe the importance of safety health and nutrition in a child care facility.?

I am not sure if this a question for an assignment or not so I am not going to answer the question for you but here a few ideas that need to be considered.



It is important that a child care centre is safe and healthy for children to play in and there is nothing that is broken if so it needs to be reported to management to get fixed.

Any accident or incident is recorded so that it can be looked at a reviewed and corrected if necessary

There are no dangerous objects that children, can hurt themselves on.

The kitchen door is firmly locked at all times so that the children cannot have access.

Nutrition

Clean and healthy kitchen

healthy and nutritious meals

- maintain a safe and clean working environment to promote learning

- you're responsible for the children, you don't want anything to happen to them

- you don't want them to get sick and spread germs

- nutrition promotes learning (eating carrot sticks vs potato chips will help brains develop and pay off in the long run)
