I have been shortlisted for an administrative clerk position in a child/youth mental health office. I am to write a one hour written exam tomorrow and when I inquired what to expect on the test I wasn't given any further information. Just wondering if anybody else has written a test for a job like this? What should I expect to be on a one hour exam for an admin job in mental health? They will probably be testing you on the aspects of the job you'll have to do on a regular basis. If you have to give instructions, they'll probably test you on how well you can write. If you have to file things, you'll probably get questions about where you'd put such-and-such a record, and so forth. What should I expect to be on a one hour exam for an admin job in mental health? The real world is not like school They don't prepare you by giving the answers.
An admin job will involve answering the phone, filing, typing, greeting people, possible dictation, problem solving, and pacifying people (clients), sorting mail, distributing mail, fetching %26amp; carrying, doing things no one else wants to do, ...etc....
didn't you know any of this??
