Can I work with children with a mental health nursing diploma?

Ive been accepted to study mental health nursing but Im just curious about my opportunities would I be able to work with children who have learning difficulties such as aspergers/autism? Or is this another branch of healthcare? I can only seem to find information on working with adults with learning difficulties.Can I work with children with a mental health nursing diploma?Actually my friend is qualified in mental health nursing, and she works in an adolescent unit so yes you can. You would only need an additional childrens health diploma if you were working with children with physical health problems.Can I work with children with a mental health nursing diploma?
My son is ASD too, and he is 9 year old now. He enjoy going to school and playing with friends. All these because of the helps of Rachel Evans.
